Dwarves of the Mithral Hall gave Drizzt the one thing he has been looking for all his life i.e peace and satisfaction. Not many people notice that Drizzt was also looking for one more thing in life and that was company and friendship. In the Hall, he was provided all these things and that’s why he does not want to leave these fellows in life.
He cherishes these moments that he is spending with them and then there are those threats that are constantly hovering over their heads. He escaped from the Underdark and perhaps is the unique soul that was been able to do it. Drizzt still knows that the dark creatures are still following him and they will not rest until he is taken back to the world of demons as they want his soul.
Lolth finally had enough of the failures of her men and she decides to come to the surface herself. The Queen is not alone as she has come with all her allies to the surface and this time she is not going back to the Underdark without Drizzt. This is bigger than The Legend of Drizzt: The Collected Stories and Homeland by R.A. Salvatore. Drizzt faces his biggest enemy and the peace in his life starts to disappear a little too quickly.
He has been matchless before but in the form of the Queen, he has finally met his match. Victor Bevine starts the narration smoothly to show the calmness in the life of Drizzt then with the addition of the enemies the narration also becomes stern. The more the Queen comes closer to Drizzt the more troublesome his life becomes.
