The author starts the book by talking about failures first of all because this is the first thing that we should kick out of our minds and life. If we are thinking about failure then we are going nowhere with our ideas. Most businesses fail at the beginning because the one starting the business has not done proper research.

The old techniques don’t work in the world of today where trends are changing continuously. So whatever is written in the books will not help you on all occasions. A proper procedure of innovative techniques has to be adopted in order to survive. Then there is a mission that is always in the mind of a person who is coming up with innovative techniques all the time.

The Startup Way has discussed this point in detail so go for that book if you have confused about this point. The second thing is to keep the people motivated so that they keep working for you with the same amount of commitment. The Leader’s Guide has certain good points in it but that book does not tell you about the ways to deal with failures or start something from the base.
