The King’s Secret

The King’s Secret is a teen & young adult fantasy novel. It is the second title in the Path of the Ranger novel series. The book and the subject series are written by Pedro Urvi. He is the bestselling writer of fantasy novels. He started writing as an experiment which soon developed into a novel and then eventually into the Path of the Ranger saga. The Great Council is the 10^th chapter of that saga and also one of its best. Moreover, Power Conspiracy is another worth mentioning title by Pedro Urvi.

The audio narration of The King’s Secret novel is done by John Banks. He offered distinct voices where each character had a unique sound, and that made this narration so much more comfortable and appealing to the listeners.

The target of Darthor was just to dethrone King Uthar. He was right on his path to taking the crown after conquering Norghana. He invaded the kingdom and also had a host coming from the Frozen Continent at his order. There were creatures there like anything which nobody had ever seen before. These include Semi-Giants, Albino Ogres, Snow Trolls, Wild Ones on the Ice, Arcane of the Glaciers ad Tundra Dwellers, etc.

Uthar gathered his forces and prepared hard to repel him at any cost. But, all of the Norghanian nobles were not in the favor of the king, especially the Western league which doesn’t support him at all. They were looking to take back the crown for the Olafstones and the West.

This is a book which people as young as 8 years old and those as old as 80 years old would enjoy. The author was excellent with the detailing of the plot devices and the characters, where his creativity was so much evident.
