The Hard Way

Ten is just a number here because when someone is listening to the series by Lee Child he does not have to look at the number all the time. The stories just keep on coming and every novel has a different story so only the main character is the same all the time in a particular series. Jack Reacher is entering a big mission once again and he will have to do everything in the old style and this is what he likes more than anything.

Jack is in New York and he is keeping an eye on a Mercedes which is taking the ransom money to the kidnappers. Edward Lane’s family has been abducted and he is ready to pay every amount in order to save his wife and child.

Lane is not an ordinary man rather he is the one who provides illegal soldiers for different missions all around the globe. This time the enemy has his family and he has called for his best soldier i.e Jack Reacher. Lane wants Reacher to go down on the abductor with full force. Jack is also ready but first, he has to be sure that his family Lane is safe and sound.

As Jack starts observing the entire game, he becomes sure that Lane is also hiding something vital and that secret might be linked to the abduction of Lane’s family. Dick Hill has utilized the experience of No Plan B and Night School in the narration. This is a bigger mission than those two parts and it gets personal to a stage as well. Perhaps this is one of those times when Jack is not sure whether he is on the right side or not. One way or the other he is going to save the life of the innocent first of all.
