The Guilty
Will Robie has faced tough situations in life since he ran away from his home and hometown at the same time. After his running from home, he has made quite a name for himself as well in the field which many people are too afraid to join. He has worked for the government on several levels and has solved many cases which were linked to the deadly underworld.
David Baldacci makes things personal for his main character in this new mission. Will is told that his father has been arrested as he was found guilty by the police. Will and Dan have never talked to each other since the day when Will left the house. Now the son thinks that he has to pay his father a visit because his father was not a criminal rather he was the town’s judge.
When Will comes to his hometown after a long span time, he feels that nothing was the same there. He goes directly to his father who does not talk to him and he shows reluctance to defend himself during the trial too. Will starts the investigation to gather the missing links so that he can save his father but the people of the town start obstructing the way.
It seems that the entire society is trying to hide something. Kyf Brewer’s voice has made the story hotter than Long Shadows and The 6:20 Man. This is the fight in which Will is ready to go to any limits and he is not going to lose the war easily because his father’s life and respect are on the line.
