The game of life is changing for Yaz and though she has been expecting many things in her life certainly does not. She thought that she had prepared herself for everything but that was not the case at all. On the east of the Black Rock, there was a place where strange things could happen and it was Yaz’s turn to be thrown into the Pit. It means that her life would not remain the same anymore and she will evolve into a different thing that would not be human of course.
When Yaz goes into that strange place, she observes the world from a different point of view. The girl sees the kind of world that she never thought was there right next to the human world. Some realities about Abeth are also revealed so life changes at a rapid pace for Yaz. Magical and spooky things start moving here and there in front of the girl and she comes to know that there were certain things about herself that she wasn’t aware of initially.
The weaknesses that she seem to have were all a smokescreen because she was able to use her weaknesses as strengths in this new world. Make room for Red Sister and Prince of Fools in your mind because you will also love the stories printed in those books.
