Writing the “Wheel of Time” was Robert Jordon’s biggest assignment of life but tragically the great writer never got ample time to complete the whole thing. It was after his death that Brandon Sanderson was chosen to finish the things off in the same style. Sanderson never made the fans feel that there was any difference in the style or the progress of the story. Thus he followed the exact footsteps of Robert Jordan. Last battle is upon the land and the Dragon Reborn is finally gathering everyone against the accursed enemy. Sadly he hasn’t been able to hold everything together in the past. Being a legend he has the charisma to impress all the people of the land but there is something within him which is not right and his allies are feeling it very deeply.
Second character of great importance in the last war is Egwene who is still in the White Tower and she is keeping all the rebels intact. Her leadership has remained under question by many but she has done an outstanding job here. Book runs on the lines set in The Eye of the World and The Dragon Reborn also narration by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading keeps the old memories alive. Old fans wanted the book to end in a big way because the series deserved an epic ending and the author has given it exactly that no doubt. Grand battle for which both side are now ready will end not only the conflicts but it will also end an era which is ruled by the Dragon Reborn in most parts. Also the fate of the White Tower gets to conclusion state after a very long time.
