Lutz and Laya are the best of friends and they have proved that they are the best companions for one another. They have gone through the worst of situations and they have not let each other down. Together they have given each other a purpose to live their life otherwise they thought that everything was going down for them. The city of Silvia was the last place where they stayed for a while and their pursuers came to that place.
The pursuers nearly had both of them but they escaped at the last minute. Now they have no place to go so they think that the forest is the ideal place to hide but at the same time it is vicious as well. The only thing which Lutz can do is to level up as quickly as possible if he wants to see a bright future for himself and for Laya as well.
They remain safe and sound in the forest after which they finally reach the city of Reim where they plan to get some things that will help them in their journey ahead. The city seemed perfectly neat from a distance but it proved to be deadlier than the forest. The people are facing terrible things and instead of helping Lutz, they demand help from him.
Michael Plymel has picked his characters out of the frying pan and then he has thrown them into the fire. There is no place to run and they have to endure these troubles now.
