The Fallen

An injury on the head turned Amos Decker into the Memory Man. He used to be a football player in the past but after the injury, he wasn’t able to go on with the game. The injury also gave him the power to keep everything the mind all the time.

He does not forget anything even the minor details. That was the reason that he was hired by the FBI because the department thinks that he has the potential to help them in many cases. Along with FBI detective Alex Jamison, the Memory Man has solved many crucial cases. Another killer is on the run now and the police are after him. The serial killer has killed four people in two weeks and the madness does not stop here.

There is more to follow because the reason behind the killings is still unknown. Amos Decker and Alex wanted some free time so Decker took Alex to his sister’s house in Baronville. The place was full of poor people and in such a society it is easy for a criminal to hide or disappear forever. Decker was about to leave the place when two more murderers appear in the same place and he thinks that they are very close to the killer.

Memory has been the most powerful tool for Decker but it starts to mislead him this time. David Baldacci’s Long Shadows and The 6:20 Man made the author famous within weeks and this has turned his work into a yardstick in the fictional world. Kyf Brewer and Orlagh Cassidy have also received a lot of appreciation for their job as the narrator in this iconic novel.
