Ashlyn Darrow was looking for a solution of her problem and in an attempt to make her life peaceful she lands into more trouble. From the day she was born she thinks that she has been cursed somehow. There are voices in her head that tease her to the limit which she cannot bear. If a solution or cure is not found very quickly then she knows that she would just end up in smoke. Instead of dying a miserable death in confusion and tension, the girl decides to find a solution to all this in Budapest.
Author Gena Showalter describes Budapest as a land of mysteries where everything is possible. At this point in the world the men have supernatural powers with which they are bound to help the people who come to them. Maddox is one of the most famous and lethal one among the men in the tribe and Ashlyn is directly attracted towards him. Going to him was a good decision but the attraction between the two, adds trouble in their lives as well.
Parting at this point is not possible for them and moving together for a few more days can get them both killed. Alice in Zombieland could be compared with this on many occasions especially when the demons appear. The role of the girl in the story also possesses some similarity with Alice.
Max Bellmore gets the job done accurately and the listener is guaranteed that he will have no trouble in the understanding of the narration. Male member is more powerful in the story but still the female dominates during the story.
