The Cove is the name of the town which appears to be an ideal place to hide when the world is teasing you. At the same time, this is a place that has a lot of secrets of its own as well, and digging out those secrets is not a good idea at all. Talking about secrets in this story makes us think about Reckoning as the book was based on this theme.
Now we meet Sally whose father has been murdered in the past and she was there when her father was murdered but she cannot tell who did that. The woman has issues of memory loss so she cannot tell whether her mother or any other person has committed the crime.
