Craig Johnson has been showing his special attachment to the west since the beginning of his career and here in this new series, the author has used the same scenery for all of us. Walt Longmire happens to be the sheriff of the town and he is one of those guys who doesn’t like showing sluggish faces on the job.
He has done his job in a splendid way for a very long time and now the time for his retirement is coming quite close. He wants to end his career in a fine way so that he can give the rest of the years of his life to his family. The dreams of the old battle axe are crushed when a boy is found dead in his area.
The boy was one of the four boys who were arrested a while ago because of rape charges. After the investigation, the boys were allowed to go free because nothing was found on them. Now one of them was killed which means that the killer is after them to settle the score and he will surely come for the other three as well.
Longmire cannot allow such kind of lawlessness in his area so he gears up to stand against the odds and he is going to save the lives of these three boys no matter what happens. The author of Hell and Back and Junkyard Dogs is at a serious pace in the first part of this series. Longmire takes the help of his deputy too and he is not only going to stop the killer but he is also going to find the real killer behind the rape case. George Guidall has started the narration of this series which means that he is going with the series till the last chapter.
