Lightbringer story got so big that Brent Weeks left the idea of concluding it in the third part aside. After the trilogy these next two parts appeared flashing to the scenes because the listeners got confused that whether there is more to the story or not. Kip Guile and his companions are the Lighbringer who have stood against the dark all the time. But the evil of darkness never got eradicated completely and now it comes with more power than ever. White King instead of fighting directly was actually weaving a clever plan by staying in the hidings. The King has thought and calculated about everything so now he starts one more war but this time a clever one. Only one with the bigger brain will win this one and those depending on raw power might not end up with success in the end. People of the land are just waiting for the Lightbringer because they are left with no other hope.
Teenagers should listen to this book whenever they get frustrated with life as it brings the energy of the Lightbringer with it. It is all sheer hope which Simon Vance’s voice induces in your brain. The Black Prism and The Broken Eye were also narrated by him in the same way. As the official narrator for the series Simon Vance has done a lot of good service for the series. Simon’s voice adjusted in a precise way with the story and its characters, surely a change in narrator would have affected the series quite badly. These are good five books and it is advised that you buy the whole collection at the same time.
