Gavin Guile is not at his true strength at this time because he has been arrested by the enemy for a very long time. The magical powers that he once possessed are now drained completely and he I hoping for a miracle. Meanwhile, the rule of Prism is crumbling in the absence of Gavin.

Gavin’s son Kip Guile is there in the kingdom but he has to face strong enemies in order to prove his worth in the court. Kip’s grandfather thinks that the time has come to select the new Prism because they cannot wait for the return of the previous one for very long time. Civil war is getting out of control and there is a group of hidden assassins that have been waiting for the right time to get the job done.

Kip, Tel, and Karris are the lost hope for the empire because if they fail then the empire will fall at the hands of the civil war. Unknown enemies are approaching from all sides and this is a more terrible thing as compared to the open war where everyone takes sides clearly. Deception is on the rise and every step needs to be a calculated one if the heroes want to survive. One wrong move can damage the entire plan forever and the Prims would be lost.
