The Black Book Audiobook
A brothel becomes the crime spot when three dead bodies are found in the same bedroom. The police come in search of the evidence and with them is detective Billy Harney who always wanted to be a cop but now he is a detective just like his sister. He has detective Kate Fenton as his assistant who is not like him at all but together the two have formed a power couple that is excellent at solving crimes.
There is also an attorney named Amy in their tale who wants to prove that the two have remained successful in solving crimes because of their good luck and they are not so much skill as they look. Anyhow the two detectives come to the scene and look for clues.
Then for a while, everyone gets shocked because the most important thing known as the Black Book has been stolen from the brothel. The brothel was visited by the elite of the town which means that the black book contains the name of all those men belonging to the upper class. Whoever is in possession of this book can blackmail the entire city.
So everyone wants that book in order to gain control of the city. James Patterson could not have written such a book without the help of David Ellis. The two have the fame for writing books like Triple Cross and The 23rd Midnight which shows their tremendous grip over such topics. Edoardo Ballerini is also with a lot of fame for narrating such books and here the quality of narration was an obvious thing. The issue of the Black book reveals many hidden aspects of society that appear in the scene
