The book contains the first two parts of the series which tell the story of a king who gets a second chance in life after death. King Grey while he was alive used to live in complete pomp and show. His throne as well as his bed was a sign of his grandeur and lavish life but now when he awakes all of a sudden he finds out that both of those things have disappeared. He was not in his bedroom when he woke up and there were also no signs that he died.
He followed the only ray of light that was visible in the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, there was a new world that was governed by magic. Grey started a new life in that world and experienced the love of a family which he had never felt before. Slowly he started to learn the art of magic too and he felt that this new life was more appealing than the previous one. TurtleMe not only gives Grey a second chance in the story but also provides him an opportunity to experience life in a completely new way.
The past life which he once thought to be ideal was nothing as compared to this one. Travis Baldree narrates how enthusiastically Grey fights for his new life against the odds. His past life has just become a haunting memory now and nothing else.
The author showed superb skills in Divergence and Convergence, here the talent is further unleashed when the author talks about two different worlds at the same time. It also talks about the change in personality of a man who from a king turns into a loving family man.
