Layla grew up in a tiny Highland village along with her pack. She was enjoying her quiet peaceful life there. However, things there took a drastic turn when it was announced that her right of ascension was impending. She was supposed to be mated to the alpha permanently and there was no choice in the matter.
That alpha was Aida who was quite arrogant. He had no interest in taking a mat permanently. But if he declined then he will be left with no choice but to abdicate from his role in the capacity of alpha and also as the leader of his pack.
Aidan and Layla both would try to make that work. Aidan in that regard had no idea how much of a test that mating arranged will be going to be. This was especially a consideration when temptation was triggered and Aidan’s loyalty to his new mate was tested to the maximum. The story of The Alpha’s Arranged Mate is just fine and nothing too super exciting about it. The narration added a lot to this book and overall, it will be an okay listen.
