Sandra Brown has forged many trilogies and this is what the author is really good at. The trilogies which Brown has created are not the type that could be considered continuous in terms of the storyline. The only thing which can be found continuously in these trilogies is the theme and also the surroundings which have played quite a role in everything.
Chase Tyler is the one who is going down in this part and the only thing which can save him is the love that he once refused to accept. From a very early age, Chase and Marcie were considered as a couple. The people thought that the two were quite ideal for each other and it was right too. However, no one was able to guess what was going on inside of their hearts.
Seeing Red and Lethal have issues related to marriage hidden in them while in this book, marriage does take place. Still, the problems arise because Chase does not marry Marcie rather he marries another girl of his choice. Life does not go well for Chase after marriage and there comes a time when everything finally collapses for him. He loses hope and all the happiness that he wanted to have after his marriage life.
In his shattered condition, Chase comes face to face with Marcie once again but he is not willing for a relationship because of his broken heart. Coleen Marlo has provided more attention to Marcie through narration in the second half because the fate of the young man depends on Marcie’s decision. Marcie is aware that her love can heal the man and she does not want to let him go in this second opportunity.
