Sandra Brown started writing stories long ago and the chief preference of the author has been love stories. Texas! Chase is one of the famous ones by the author in which she made two characters come close to each other in slow motion. Basically, it was their need that brought them together, and then those needs just changed into love. Seeing Red also transformed into a love story when the characters were not interested in a relationship.
Rye Mallett is a man who is on a mission all the time because he delivers cargo to places that don’t appear to be accessible on many occasions. Don’t look at his rude talk as he does not possess time for a soft note for anyone. Throughout the first part of the story, we observe Rye flying his plane from one corner of the world to another.
Rye is called during bad weather one day and he is asked to take a parcel to Dr. Lambert in fogbound Northern Georgia. The other pilots were not ready for the job because of the weather but Rye had no objection, he thinks that he has been flying in tough weather all the time. One thing which Rye wasn’t ready for was an ambush by a certain group that wants to take the cargo from him.
The man is forced to crash land after which Victor Slezak narrates the character of Dr. Brynn. Brynn comes to the place to collect the parcel instead of Lambert. At this stage, Rye gets suspicious about the parcel and he is with no other option except to take the parcel to its rightful owner with Brynn. It is not only the sense of duty that compels Rye rather he gets attracted to Brynn too.
