Nick Cole’s stories are for the people of every age group and these stories are not very difficult to understand. The writer has always tried to use easy language and the setting is simple. However the stories are complex and due to the simple language it becomes easy for everyone to digest these tales.
Even the kids of the house will start showing interest in such kind of books if they concentrate on it fully. Christopher Ryan Grant has narrated Lay the Hate and Second Chance with quite a great accuracy and it is due to that experience the narrator has been able to deal with this book stupendously.
Humans have never been in such a mess before as is shown in this book. The “Strange Company” is a group of fighters who have been stranded on a remote planet.
They were actually on a mission which has gone horribly wrong and now they are on their own if they want to get back home. Moreover there is no support of any kind which has been provided to them.
They have to deal with the fire power of another race that is not human at all and they will not be agreeing on any kind of truce. Voodoo Platoon is another force present on the strange planet and they are the operators who have been changed because of the circumstances.
This group is really strange kind because they have no fear in their mind and they operate like killing machines now. Strange Company gets into much stranger world and they have to come on top of their game if they want to remain in one piece.
