Steel’s Edge

Love comes to us in so many ways and when it comes we just cannot escape from it because through a love experience usually our destiny is written. Fate ironically selects those who are least expecting something sensational in life. Ilona Andrews takes us to the world where two type of creatures are living together side by side. At one side there are ordinary humans who are spending their normal life and on the other side, there are the gifted creatures which are known as the Weird. These creatures have magical powers in them which they have been using for the benefit of mankind and the creatures of their world.
This balance has kept all sorts of disturbance away from the Edge. Charlotte de Ney is one of the bluebloods from the Weird and she has been blessed with superb healing power. The girl has powers but she has no aim to use her powers for any kind of higher gains. She has been helping the people of the town from both sides willingly but this does not prove that she is a hero.

Then one day she gets a serious case when Richard is brought to her for the healing process. The swordsman was injured during a mission in which he was trying to stop slavers trafficking humans. The enemies are right after him and want him dead so that none would be able to stop them later on. Charlotte develops an instant liking for the warrior and decides to help him in his mission.

This one mission takes Charlotte to the level of heroes seen in Blood Heir and Magic Bites but it also makes her life tough. Suddenly the enemies are looking to get rid of her as well. Richard and Charlotte’s mission gets bigger when influential people from both sides get involved. Renee Raudman has attracted man fans to this book through narration because fans love such kind of a voice.
