The audio narration of this novel is done by Dan Bittner. It was mostly a good performance with a subtle accent, which never sounded any kind of over-acting at all.
Padawan Reath Silas was deployed to the undeveloped frontier from Coruscant, which was the cosmopolitan galactic. He could never be any less happy regarding this.
He would rather prefer to stay at the Jedi Temple than study all through the archives. But then the ship which he was using for traveling got knocked out in the galactic-wide disaster which happened within the hyperspace. In that situation, Reath found himself right at the core of the action. The Jedi and their allies discovered refuge on what seems to be a fully abandoned space station. But, then some mysterious and strange things started to happen.
The book received some mixed reviews. There were a few with very good feedback, especially those who are die-hard fans of the Star Wars novel series. Then, there were also those followers who were not too impressed with the storyline. They even thought that the characters were not that well thought out.
