Star Wars: Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is written by Michael Reeves. He is an amazing writer of fictional novels and did some considerable job in the spin-off of the Star Wars series.
The audio performance of this novel is done by Michael Cumpsty. It was a very good performance but the editing was not so good. The annoying sound effects made things even worse.
Darth Sidious decided to take his very first step for his master plan after spending long years waiting in the shadows. The plan was to bring the Republic down to its knees. The Neimoidians of the Trade Federation were supposed to be the key to his scheme. One of the Neimoidian then suddenly disappeared. Sidious was in no need of his instinct to identify a betrayal there as things looked pretty much obvious. He ordered Darth Maul, his apprentice there to hunt down the traitor.
But, he was too late to make the orders. The secret was passed already into the hands of Lorn Pavan who was the information broker. This was that one thing that put him right at the top of the hit list of Darth Maul. Lorn Pavan crossed his path with Darsha Assant who was on a Jedi Padawan over a big mission. It was the mission to get herself the Knighthood. The future of the Republic was then dependent on both Lorn and Darsha. And, this will not be an easy task ahead of them.
Star Wars: Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter remained the bestseller in New York Times. The writer did an amazing job to pull his listeners right into the Star Wars universe.
