Spirit Dances is the sixth chapter in Walker Paper’s novel series. This romance fantasy novel is written by C. E. Murphy. She is an American-born author who is currently based in Ireland. She is excellent when it comes to writing romance and fantasy novels. She inspired a good range of readers with her excellent novels where Mountain Echoes is definitely among her best works. Shaman Rises is another good one from C. E. Murphy which you must check out.
Gabra Zackman is the narrator of this book and the performance stood out with exceptional tonal quality and vocal range. For Joanne Walker, the Seattle detective, spring is all about having new beginnings. She has almost mastered the art of her shamanic abilities. She managed to nearly survive the attack of a cannibalistic serial killer. She is up against the fiercest challenge of her professional career. She was at a dance concert and was accompanied by Captain Michael Morrison. He was her sexy and charismatic boss. But the performance there transformed her into a coyote. She along with Captain Michael has got some really big things to deal with.
There is a lot more to it than what the human eye could see. Homeless people were getting disappeared without a trace. A mystical murder happened which put Joanne Walker way out of her comfort zone and her jurisdiction. It seems that the killer is some creature who doesn’t exist. But, Joanne might just handle all of it.
The author did a great job in creating the world in this series and all the characters were phenomenal. The performance by Gabra proved to be icing on the cake.
