Spider-Man: Carnage in New York is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is a chapter out of the Spider-Man novel series. The book is written by David Michelinie and coauthored by Dean Wesley Smith. David is an American writer of comic books. He came to prominence for scripting the much loved Marvel Comics’ Iron Man and The Amazing Spider-Man. The DC Comics also did wonders for the author that feature Superman in the Actions Comics.
The audio narration of this title is done by Tim Paige. He performed brilliantly and the listeners had a great time with this audio novel.
The story in this title started with the character of Cletus Kasady who was a notorious serial killer. Through the aid of an alien creature, he had his entire body chemistry altered. Cletus then became capable of transforming himself into Carnage. He was the one who lived for chaos and different acts of brutal, senseless murder, all along with his deadly living costume.
Carnage was made to return to New York while locked in chains. He was supposed to be the subject of a very bold attempt for reversing the significant effects of his transformation. A deranged scientist interfered in the matter and that resulted in the experiment going drastically wrong. Carnage in that situation was all set to loose upon the New York City for one more time. It was all up to the Spider-man to restrict his deadliest enemy.
This title tells a fantastic Spider-man story. It will make you nostalgic while remembering the Spider-man comics of the 90s. You will experience Spider-man here in its most genuine form.
