Sidonie was a musician when she was on the earth and she was doing a fine job in her way. Her music was gentle and heart-touching, however, one thing which she was not aware of was the fact that her music had the power which was needed in Avalon. She was abducted and was taken to Avalon. There she is asked one thing i.e share her music with the queen but she denies it.
Because of this denial, the woman is punished and her voice with the help of which she used to produce musical notes is taken away from her. She becomes silent for eternity and there is no way she can escape this terrible curse that is brought upon her. The author Thea Harrison eliminates all hopes for the woman and then gives her the company of Morgan. Morgan does not present his help to her openly because he happens to be a slave of the queen. There was a time when he was a powerful magician but time has changed now and all he can do now is to take care of the hounds of the queen. Morgan fell in love with Sidonie’s music as it was something that touched his heart after a very long time. In a monologue narrated by Sophie Eastlake, Morgan’s feelings are depicted very clearly.
This novel will sideline The Chosen and Planet Dragos for a while because the unsung love is completely mesmerizing. The two lovers don’t talk to each other very much but they have a connection which can be felt by the heart and through a special kind of music.
