Aaron Dembski-Bowden’s book will make you listen to the entire story in one go. The book has that kind of plot and storyline that the one listening to it will not wait for another day to finish the job. The story has excitement and history linked to it as the Night Lords return for another mission that is given to them by the Warmaster. These Night Lords used fear as their ultimate weapon in the past and they have succeeded on many occasions as well but somehow they are not in the same shape anymore because of different issues.
Some issues have eaten them up from within and it is like a miracle that they have survived the deadly blows of the enemy too. The emperor has once again prepared his army to attack the Night Lords and this time he is coming with the Blood Angels.
Andrew Wincott narrates how the legends fall one by one but they don’t want to go down without a fight. The Master of Mankind and Void Stalker are full of wars and old mysteries so there is a lot for the audience of all categories in these books. The way the two sides fight portrays that both sides are equal in power and aggression.
The only side that can win such a war is the one who has patience in it. Without proper planning and patience, such wars cannot be won at any rate. Heroes too lose a lot in these fights and one cannot say that the author has given one side an upper hand in the story. Thus the war continues to shift towards different sides.
