Julia is one of the finest characters Lisa Kleyas has ever produced. The woman is a real darling and she gets what she wants in a flash. There is no one who is stopping her at any point because Julia is the one who controls the whole of London with her looks. However, she hasn’t told anyone about a secret that she does not want to share with anyone.

She has a husband whom she has never met or seen. Actually, the marriage was like a legal procedure and the two never met each other. Damon has also remained confused since the day when his parents linked him to a woman whom he has never seen in his life.

So Damon too has been looking for the one to whom he is legally married. He wants to break the marriage bond so that he can get rid of that burden and start a new life with the woman of her choice. While searching for the woman he came across Julia and found out that she was the one to whom he was legally married. Julia was her dream girl and he never expected her to be his mystery wife.

Now he thinks that living here is not the right move but he cannot have her either because she has many doubts and fears in her mind which he has to remove at first. Narrator Rosalyn Landor has made the story look better than Cold-Hearted Rake and Mine Till Midnight in terms of presentation. It is about any unseen relationship which changes into a love bond in the later stages of the novel.
