Sin & Magic

Sin & Magic is an urban paranormal romance novel. It is the second book in the Demigods of San Francisco Series. The book is a product of K. F. Breene. You will find the author close to her best in the Magical Midlife Alliance and Magical Midlife Challenge novels.

Khristine Hvam has done the narration of Sin & Magic. She is the best when it is anything romance to be narrated, and she gave an outstanding performance for the subject novel too.

I agreed to work for a Demigod. But what was supposed to be my job there? It was all about finding the spirit of his mother and then releasing her well before his vengeful father could find and kill us all. Have I lost my mind there?

Thankfully, the job was not needed to be done alone by me. Kieran managed to find some help there.

Bria Stevens was everything that I was not. She was magically savvy and highly experienced. She was a Necromancer who was always in love to flirt with all sorts of dangers. With her support, I could figure out the clues that were surrounding the mother of Kieran, and all this while learning about my extremely terrifying and potent magic. But just as we went deeper into the magical world of San Francisco, we found a minefield there waiting to explode. A small wrong step would have Valens right at our doors. I was just about to find out far worse things than even mere death.

This book tells a good and engaging story. One thing that might be a bit challenging to stomach is the inclusion of so many sex scenes which at times were not even necessary for the story to flow.
