Another adventure in which the joy will not end takes us to a world that is woven carefully by the author Julie Garwood. The author has a habit of writing stories that show a naughty side of romance all the way. Princess Gabrielle is going to be sacrificed this time for the sake of peace. Her father wants her to marry a Highland laird so that peace can prevail on the land through this marriage.
Gabrielle’s father thinks that he has selected the right kind of person for his daughter so she does not disobey her father and starts her journey toward the highlands. Her path gets obstructed when she along with her guards is attacked. In order to save the life of a man she takes the life of another and all of this complicates things in the region.
A war starts and Gabrielle becomes a part of it although she had come to the land for the sake of peace. Colm MacHugh is the man who provides shelter to Gabrielle and she quickly understands that no one is going to bring harm to her as long as she is in his protection.
The problem is that Gabrielle does not feel safe with Colm as her heart starts slipping in his presence. Wired and The Secret have equal entertainment so if you select out of these two then it would not be a bad idea either. The classic and well-carved voice of the narrator Rosalyn Landor is associated with this beautiful story and he is the same narrator who has narrated many other stories linked to the highlands.
