After the completion of the trilogy, comes this fourth part of the series which tells us more about the quality of Catherine Coulter’s writing. The author is completely a magician with the selection of the themes of the story and also the painting of the characters. If anyone can understand Catherine’s works to the fullest then it is the narrator of the story Anne Flosnik who has narrated the story with great understanding. No one can be cleverer than Roland because he is a master of raw wit.
This attractive looking man can deceive anyone in a moment and the surprising element has amazed every woman in the town. Though all the women have an attraction for Roland he is not impressed by anyone rather he is searching for a woman who can really touch his heart.
Daria is the assignment that is given to Roland as he has to save her by any means possible. When he comes closer to Daria, he feels that she was the one he was looking for but she was not there for the taking. She was equal in skill to Roland and trusting her could be proved as a big mistake. Roland has taken risks in his life and this will prove to be the risk that he will enjoy the most.
Reckoning and The Wyndham Legacy: Legacy, Book 1 will never allow you to divert your attention to anything else. When these two books end they provide the same pleasure which can be felt in this novel. Two characters with the same potential and strategies finally come together and they are the only two who can help each other.
