Second Story Man

Being part of an epic adventure is every person’s dream i.e as a hero of course. Clyde wanted the same thing, however, there was one thing lacking i.e he was not the hero in the tale. Clyde was the kind of person who was not a hero at any position in his life. Careena, the one who has been teaching Clyde the art of magic, thinks that the man has a lot of potentials to do wonders which is very good news for him.

But then there is another problem that is linked to Careena’s potential of predicting the future in the right way. The old magic teacher seldom gets anything right because of her clumsy behavior. Meanwhile, Clyde keeps on doing the job which he despises the most. During these tough days, Clyde comes to know that a gang is trying to kill the emperor and only he can save the emperor and the empire if he tries fully

Thus life blesses the underdog with one chance to prove his worth or get destroyed in the process. Clyde’s situation is different as compared to the role of the main character in Eastbound and Town and One More Last Time.

The main reason is Clyde’s personality which does not depict that he is a hero or he will get the job done in the end. Neil Hellegers’ voice was a little heavy for a character like Clyde so the narrator had to adjust his voice accordingly. The hero emerges from the slums and the one who was supposed to do all the dirty works finally saves the day.
