There is so much in this single book that digesting it in a single go is not possible at all. P.J. Ochlan, Almarie Guerra, and Ramon De Ocampo have tried to keep the narration as clear as possible here. Narrating Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Diper Överlöde and Restart was easy in the sense that the narrator didn’t have to deal with so much variety at the same time. Here we have the creations of Megan Abbott, Heather Graham, Bruce Hale, and Tonya Hurley.
Every author has presented a story according to his or her own mood and thoughts. Thus it became an uphill task for the narrators to do justice to all the stories. These stories are branded as scary stories which show that the authors wanted to induce fear in the mind of the audience.
There are certain stories that have a few messages attached to them but mostly it is with the feeling of terror. Stories of this kind can even make the ice cream trucks look sinister as they approach a kid on the road. The dark corners get highlighted in these short stories and monstrous creatures come out in the dark.
None of the stories can be called similar to each other which shows how much talent these authors actually are. All these authors have been able to create stories that are completely different from the rest and the scary feeling approaches with the same intensity. Don’t listen to this book if you are busy because it will not have the awesome impact that it can have at night when you are in a peaceful mood.
