Isaac Asimov’s name is attached to the world of literature and to the world of robots too. The author provided the picture of many gadgets at a time when they weren’t existent in the real world. Then as time passed, the things finally became a reality which shows how closely the people from the world of science were listening to the ideas of Isaac. He talked about computerized cars and robots with memory and thoughts of their own.
I, Robot and Foundation and Empire are full of such ideas. Though the author was not from the world of science the books which he has written show that he had firm faith in the development in the field of science and technology. Emotions in robots and their understanding of the emotions of their human masters were something that only Isaac could have written.
George Guidall didn’t have to do much investigation before starting the narration of this book as he had already narrated many books by the same author. The talent of the robots in this book is unique like always and is a great addition to the robot tales. The good thing about Isaac’s works is that the author does not try to describe the robots and other forms of technology as negative things all the time.
He tells us what can happen if things go out of control but it is not necessary that the robots would try to take over the world after slaughtering mankind. They can be like a helping hand and they can also form a world of their own, independent of the human world.
