Mankind is on the brink of chaos so precautionary steps are needed. The basic resources on which life depended once are now gone or their quantity is at the minimum level. The floods have eaten away the land and their water is also contaminated so chances of survival have become low.
A proper greenhouse was constructed long ago that has become the only place where humans can survive under such circumstances. The only problem is that they have to keep an eye on the reproduction process. Too many people cannot live in this small place also overpopulation became the main cause of the downfall in the past.
Now all humans are not allowed to breed rather only those who remain successful in the trials are allowed to produce children. Nine teenagers again apply for the trials that will continue for seven days. These days competitors can lose their life as well so only those who are really eager to give birth to their new generation will be able to survive. Heidi Catherine and Tamar Sloan have come up with characters like Nova, Dex, Wren and Kian in the first part of the series.
All of these four teenagers have a different focus in their lives and it is difficult for them to coordinate. Expose and Falling takes the story further and tells us how these teenagers come together and start working as a single unit in order to leave their mark in this world. Christian Drerup has narrated all the characters of the story but it does not mean that we feel any kind of difficulty in identifying any character on the way.
