Remarkably Bright Creatures Audiobook
Tova lost everything when her husband died because he was the only companion left for her after the day she lost her son. She lost her son Erik thirty years ago when the boat in which the boy was traveling suddenly vanished. The boy was eight years of age at that time and the parents looked everywhere for him but no sign of the boat and the boy was ever found. Now after thirty years, the father of the boy has also died and this has left Tova alone.
Now she works all day and night, not for the sake of money but because of the fact that the work fills the emptiness in her life. During her work at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, she comes quite close to Marcellus who happens to be an octopus brought from the Pacific. [Remarkably Bright Creatures Audiobook]
The octopus seems quite alert and active all the time and for Tova, it does something strange i.e it raises one of its eight arms for the woman. Marcellus thinks that it knows what actually happened to Tova’s son but the problem is that it cannot convey this message to the woman. So Marcellus starts showing the different types of movements to the woman so that they can develop a special kind of sign language between them. Shelby Van Pelt has once again come up with a brilliant story. [Remarkably Bright Creatures Audiobook]
It would seem more mysterious than Mother of Learning Arc 1 when you will get to the climax. Also, the story paints the picture of love between a human and an aquatic creature. Marin Ireland and Michael Urie have given a wonderful performance in narration. This is an exact book for those who are heartbroken in life.
