A werewolf living with a gay vampire is something most of the listeners never expected to listen in their lives. The whole situation is funny at the start and perhaps the author Robyn Peterman wanted us to see the lighter side of things before the real problem or war starts. The female werewolf was frustrated with her life because of which she got herself settled with Dwayne. Though she is still not satisfied emotionally and physically she claims that she has everything which she wanted from life.
Of course, a member of a gym cannot be equal to Hank’s company but she has learned to smoother her heart. Going back to that perfect-looking werewolf she once loved is not in the options anymore because he broke her heart and she has planned not to talk to him again. It has been many years since she saw Hank for the last time and now news comes from the hometown that the werewolves are disappearing without a trace.
Perhaps an old enemy has returned and the life of every werewolf is on the line. She decides to return but before that she promises to herself that she will not allow Hank to come close to her.
It is Hollie Jackson who narrates the feelings of frustration of two werewolves and makes the novel equal in level to The Write Hook and A Most Excellent Midlife Crisis. On her return she sees that the whole scene of the town is totally changed and her ex-boyfriend is also not the same guy anymore as he has evolved differently in her absence.
