It is the story of two men who have a criminal background but they have left that thing behind because they wanted a peaceful life in old age. Ike used to be in prison but that was fifteen years ago and since his bail from prison he has not been involved even in a single act that would prove that he is a bad guy.
Although he has turned into a thorough gentleman his relationship with his son has not been that good during these years. One day the police come to Ike’s house and they told him that his son has been murdered along with a white man named Derek.
Derek was the son of Buddy Lee who too was a man with a dark past. Buddy also hated his son because he was gay and Derek hated Buddy because of his criminal background. However now that both the sons were dead, their fathers think that they have to look into this case on their own. Although the relationship between the fathers was not awesome with their sons it didn’t mean that they hated their sons.
The author S.A. Cosby sends these two old men on a serious mission as they crave vengeance from the underworld. They will not allow anyone to come in their way because the matter is highly personal to them. My Darkest Prayer and Blacktop Wasteland are energetic books and so is this one that has the voice of Adam Lazarre White in it. The old villains are back and this time they are going to act like heroes because they want to catch and punish the evil doer.
