Halla is going down for sure this time because Bobby Pendragon is nowhere to be found. Everyone on the Second Earth depends on him but he is not there when he is needed the most. Some are with the view that he has run away intentionally because he wasn’t able to face such a strong enemy and then there are those who are certain that he will return right on time to save the day.
Only one hero is not ample because the troubles are huge in number. While listening to the story just don’t try to confuse it with The Merchant of Death and The Pilgrims of Rayne because the story and the climax of this book is written differently by the author.
MacHale has tried to provide new thoughts to a wide range of audience that likes his creations. Fluent as always William Dufris has done the job of the narrator fantastically. The story will not scare you but it will make you feel a sense of urgency in everything. Primary characters are not very large in number so it is less confusing too.
