David Eddings introduces the god Torak in the second episode, the god is evil by nature and there was a time when it tried to take over the whole world. Torak was not successful in his desires as he was defeated in the war after which he lost all his powers. The god vanished but according to prophesy. he is destined to return to the land once again and finish what he started years ago.
A priest has stolen the Orb and he is willing to bring Torak back to the land. Now it is up to Belgarath and his daughter to stop the whole thing. These two with magical powers have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Failing is not an option for them because if they fail the world would be doomed forever.
Along with these two, the author David Eddings adds Garion too. Garion was once one of those who thought that there was no such thing as magic in the world. Now his powers are revealed and he is still not ready mentally to embrace those powers. It was his destiny from the beginning to face Torak and the more quickly he believes in all of this the better it is for him and the rest of the world.
The final battle approaches in Cameron Beierle’s voice that has done justice with narration here.
