Prudence is the first book in The Custard Protocol novel series. This is an urban fantasy novel. It is written by Gail Carriger. She is an American archaeologist and an author of steampunk fiction mainly. If you are interested in more books from the author then Poison or Protect is the novel that you should look for. Apart from this, you will be guaranteed to have a good time with the Imprudence novel by the author.

The audio narration of Prudence’s novel is done by Moira Quirk. This wasn’t a good performance. Moira struggled with her pronunciations and used incorrect inflections as well. This is your introduction to the Custard Protocol series in which the daughter of Alexia Maccon named Prudence traveled to India. She traveled to India on behalf of the queen and the country and the perfect pot of tea.

When Prudence Alessandra Maccon Akeldama was bequeathed with an unexpected zeppelin. She does what any other utilitarian female under similar circumstances would ever plan to do. She christened it the Spotted Custard and then just floated off to India.

In quick time, she stumbled upon a plot that involved the local dissidents. The others included the wife of an abducted brigadier and the other familiar werewolves from Scotland. Rue was faced with a dire and extreme crisis along with a highly embarrassing lack of bloomers. Rue must look to rely fully on her really good breeding and also along with her meta-natural abilities for getting right to the bottom of that all. You will enjoy the story and characters. The only thing that troubles you is the narration that didn’t fare well at all.
