Kresley Cole in a lovely way describes the teasing techniques adopted by the vampire in order to convince Lucia. This is not the first time we are witnessing love between a vampire and human, A Hunger Like No Other: Immortals After Dark, Book 2 and No Rest for the Wicked: Immortals After Dark, Book 3 were full of such crushes. In a life threatening situation Cole lets the breeze of love and romance to enter the life of those in trouble. Romance and lust divert the attention of the listeners from the main theme for a while and the characters also get interested in their personal life and tend to forget the worries. Robert Petkoff wanted to provide this book some lusty sounds but he didn’t succeed so after the middle the narrator goes on the simple easy way.
