What can a person expect from an author like Shami Stovall who has already created Master Arcanist and Warlord Arcanist. The only thing which can be expected is the best performance by the author. There were so many expectations from the audience that the author took a long time in creating this book. A less fascinating book might have damaged the charm of the series for the people. The author knew exactly what was needed for the show so he put his best efforts into this one narrated by Brian Wiggins.
Volke has helped many people and even kingdoms during his campaigns and on this occasion, a deadly plague has spread on the land and the cure is nowhere to be found. Volke must find Theasin who happens to be an artificer and only he can develop a cure for this plague. That’s why at the start of the episode, Volke starts towards the city of New Norra. Volke’s sister and other trustworthy men are not with him in this campaign because they have been separated from him.
He does not have the time to look for them because it is getting late so he starts the mission with the team which is provided to him. There are hunters who want to kill Volke and in order to reach his target, he must find a way out of a big maze.
On the way, Volke confronts different pirates too which adds to his problems as he wasn’t expecting them. Thus it is all happening here in this new mission that is assigned to Volke and he must get the job done before it is too late.
