One Fell Sweep

Ilona Andrews comes forward with another female character who is strong and courageous. Dina DeMille apparently runs the Bed and Breakfast in Red Deer, Texas but this is just a smokescreen. From the inside, she has been working to save the world for the last many years. The guests who come to her place are not ordinary types at all rather they are one of a kind by all means. Among them is an intergalactic tyrant who has left the active life and now he wants to live in peace.

Then there is the leader of the vampire clan which brings back the memories of Magic Bites. Lastly, there is a werewolf too who caught Dina’s focus in the first meeting. So the ordinary men and women of the town have no place in this hotel because they can be eradicated if things get messy. Dina has a couple of missions in the part which is narrated by Renee Raudman.

She has to save her sister who has been sent with her family to a planet on which she might not be able to survive for a very long period of time. Then a guest comes to Dina for help and he wants to save his civilization at all costs, however, if this happens then the humans can suffer in a bad way and Dina does not want all of that.

There is a clan of assassins that is playing its role as well and there is a threat of massive bloodshed. Meanwhile, Dina has another agenda which is connected to her missing parents. She has been trying to find them for a long time but so far she hasn’t been able to get any missing links. Sweep of the Heart is never a bad option even if someone has an attraction for such type of story.
