Once More Upon a Time is a humorous romance fantasy novel. It is written by Roshani Chokshi. She is an American author of children’s and young adult books. She also has been a bestseller in the New York Times.
The audio narration of Once More Upon a Time is done by Rebecca Gibel, Vikas Adam, and Shiromi Arserio. The narrators mostly sounded like teenagers, but their inflexion was not good, and the character’s monotonous voices were hardly able to be differentiated. You will feel much at ease when you speed up this narration to 1.3x.
Once upon a time, there was a king and a queen. They were living in a land known as the Love’s Keep who love one another once but not anymore. They were doomed without love to be fully ousted from their kingdom right at the end of a year and also a day.
A year and a day elapsed. That was where their story began. Ambrose and Imelda couldn’t remember why they both got married. Ambrose a year and a day ago consulted a witch while trading their love to save the life of Imelda. They had been stuck ever since with one another. When that which paid them a visit which was on that very day when they lost their kingdom, she promised to make their top wishes come true. All that was meant in exchange for a very simple favour and a short journey. There was nothing left to lose, and with that, Ambrose and Imelda agreed. But, throughout their magical road trip, something truly magical happened, step by step, little by little.
