Corin came to the Lorian Heights institute not only for learning and training but also to find out something about his brother. Corin’s brother Tristan got lost long ago and most of the people thought that he died during an accident. Corin has received a clue according to which his brother is alive and he is with the organization called the Whisper. Entering the Whisper is easy but getting out of it is impossible.
Sera’s voice and magical powers have also become a huge problem and Corin thinks that somehow he is responsible for the thing. It is all happening in this novel by Andrew Rowe in which the hero is trying to find out the use of the magical symbol that has appeared on his body. Also Nick Podehl narrates how difficult it has become for Corin to sort his friends among the enemies.
The Torch That Ignites the Stars and Forging Divinity were crispy and spicy but this book goes far ahead of every other book in terms of story and suspense. The fate of Corin remains at stake throughout and the listeners also start doubting the allies which Corin has around him. The boy has hidden enemies which are hard to find.
