Nearly every human being in this world is at war with certain evils which are bound to destroy his life. There are times when these evils come one by one and for those who are bitten hard by fate, such things land all at once in the lap. Damien is one of those boys for whom bad luck comes in a big box.
All he was worried about at the start of the novel was his exams and educational expenditure. Author Oliver Mayes after sometime adds personal issues in the life of Damien when his mother has a heart attack. Losing their mother and future at the same time proves to tease the young boy. When he sees no hope around he signs for the contest of Saga Online.
The contest has simple rules i.e win the game and get the ultimate prize. Damien needs the prize money for his mother’s surgery and the sake of his educational budget too. The boy thought that playing the game would be easy but when he confronts the vampire in the initial stages he realizes that things are not very easy in the game after all.
However, being in a hopeless condition does not solve anything for him at this stage so he decides to rise and this time he is willing to fight hard in the virtual world. Narration needed a passion booster for this series and has been provided by Adam Sims. Road to Hellbound: Saga Online #2 is set after the end of this first part of the series. More action and new faces wait in the second part where the stakes would be higher than before.
