Being a player is a good thing and everyone wants to be the best among the rest. However, not all people think in the same way there are some who happen to be Non-Player characters who just don’t put their noses in affairs with which they aren’t concerned.

Four such characters who weren’t interested in any kind of adventure come to a new town and all they needed was some rest and recreation. They went to the local bar and ordered something to drink after which they were planning for a night’s sleep. The town suddenly gets hit by catastrophe and there is no one left to defend the town except these four strangers who are just not interested in any kind of adventure.

They have been running away from an adventurous life and quite ironically they have found adventure on the doorstep of the bar in which they were feeling gay just a while ago. Now they have to tackle this issue if they want to keep themselves alive and everyone else safe. The author of this book Drew Hayes has created characters of such kind before in Super Powereds: Year 1 and Super Powereds: Year 2.

The author likes to talk about the underdogs so that he can convey the message that anyone can be a hero when the time comes. It is not about strength and power rather it is about courage and getting the job done which makes a person a hero. Just don’t underestimate the narration done by Roger Wayne because he is a real pro in this thing so sit back and enjoy the show.
