Colt Nightshade comes to the life and office of Lieutenant Althea Grayson and this makes all the difference in her life. Althea was the kind of woman who never went against the rules and she liked her life in that calculated manner. Following rules and keeping her life out of trouble was her main motive for her and then Colt Nightshade brought sudden changes in that peace.
She wasn’t afraid of him but she was attracted to the unruly side of that individual. She thought that he was the new kind of person with whom she should not make any kind of relationship but there was nothing she could do because he was her new partner.
He challenged everything which Althea used to hold dear and the way he looked right into her eyes was something quite confusing. She got carried away on one occasion when he finally held her in his strong arms too. So the relationship went to a level that was not expected of such a couple that was completely different from each other.
Nora Roberts does not bring action alone in the novel rather the action is coated with a love story all the time. From Year One and Bed of Roses to this book there has not been a lot of change for the audience in the length of the story but the flavor is different all the time. Just start listening to this story and Kate Rudd’s narration will do the rest. This is not a story that will end very quickly thus patience is needed if you want to see the end in one go.
