Never Die is an awesome science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the opening chapter in The Mortal Techniques. The book is authored by Rob J. Hayes. He started his literary writing career with a few short stories and then diverted his attention toward dark fantasy. He did well in that zone and came up with a few very good novels and one of them is From Cold Ashes Risen. You can enjoy one of his best trilogies in a single title which is: The Heroic Age Trilogy.
The audio narration of Never Die novel is done by Kim Bretton. It was an absolute spot-on performance and you really cannot ask for anything more from Kim Bretton. The story started with the character of Ein who was on a grand mission coming from God.
It was the God of Death. Time was all up for the Ten Kings’ Emperor and it falls all of a sudden to a murdered young boy who was only eight years old. It rendered the judgment of the God of Death. Ein knew it pretty well that he couldn’t do that all alone. But, the entire empire was fully prevalent with the heroes all around. But there was a problem there: For them to serve, the very first requirement for them was to die.
Four legendary heroes were in the mind of Ein. Those were the storybook names that he remembered his father reading to him. He must find them all and kill them. Never Die is a tremendous literary ride. It will give you the feel of the Seven Samurai and you will love every part of its story and its narration.
